Our Longest Love Story: With the Coast
Valentine’s often focuses on romantic gestures.
For us, it’s a useful moment to pause and reflect on something more constant.
Living and working by the coast in Cornwall shapes how we see connection. The sea is part of everyday life - not something we visit occasionally, but something we learn from over time. It sets the rhythm of our days, the pace of the seasons, and reminds us when to slow down.
The coast asks for respect.
Tides change, weather turns, and the landscape shifts in ways you don’t always notice straight away. Spending time here teaches patience and care - understanding that this place isn’t something to be used, but looked after.
That’s why becoming Reserve Guardians of Penhale Dunes matters to us. It’s about listening, learning, and taking responsibility for a landscape that’s both beautiful and fragile.
These ideas carry through into our work.
We design blankets with longevity in mind - choosing natural fibres and timeless designs that are meant to be lived with, not replaced. They’re made for everyday use, in all seasons, and for the quieter moments that tend to last longest.
Valentine’s doesn’t have to be about more.
It can be about paying attention - to people, to places, and to what we choose to bring into our lives.
For us, the coast has always been at the centre of that.
